Every once in a while, we come across a project that we have no choice but to say 'hell yes' to. When Bird + Stone reached out requesting a rapid turnaround for some digital signage at the Barclay's Center, it was very much one of those 'hell yes' moments.
We developed impactful content for Barclay's exterior 360° Oculus, as well as their interior will call digital signs. This project pushed us into some exciting new territory and allowed us to support a business dedicated to doing good. At PAKD, we think that's a pretty dope thing for companies to do.
Our primary deliverables were 15s animated loops playing on the Oculus exterior and Atrium interior. Bird + Stone's Chief Designer, Dylan Aiello, provided static designs that laid a strong foundation for the project.
One of the unique challenges we faced were the requirements for the Oculus spot to be seamless as it wrapped in a 360° screen. By using our completed animations to create to-scale 3D pre-vizualisations, we were able to provide a seamless design on first delivery to Barclay's, and Bird & Stone's team were able to see exactly how the final display would look before going live.
